Draft. This page describes what E-SCORE does today. Your school must review it, and have a native Khmer speaker translate it, before showing it to parents.
How E-SCORE handles student information
What it does
E-SCORE reads a school’s grades, attendance and homework records and suggests students a teacher may want to look at. It does not label, rank or diagnose children. Every suggestion is reviewed by a person.
What reaches parents
- Only messages a teacher has read and approved, sent through Telegram.
- Parents choose to connect with a QR code and a PIN, and can stop the bot at any time in Telegram.
- Notes about behaviour and about contact with families are never sent to parents automatically.
Who can see what
- Teachers see students in their own classes only.
- Behaviour notes are visible to school administrators and the student’s homeroom teacher only.
- A parent’s Telegram details are never displayed in the app.
Other services involved
Telegram delivers messages to parents. If your school syncs a Google Sheet, E-SCORE reads that sheet. Those services have their own privacy rules.
Questions or requests
Contact your school office. They decide how long records are kept and can correct or remove a student’s information.
